Job Title; Finance and Payroll Assistant – long term temporary

Location; Rochdale

Our Client has an immediate opening to join their business on a long term temporary basis.

Reporting to the Finance Director – this is a role that requires a mix of skills and may suit an AAT Qualified / Bookkeeper or QBE.

On a Daily / Weekly and Monthly basis you will work across;

  •  end to end Payroll for salaried staff
  • update of the General Ledger in respect of Payroll
  • management of NI and PAYE – also the deduction of Pension Payments
  • update of Starters and Leavers – update and maintain HR Records
  • maintain Petty Cash Float and Reconcile
  • assist with preparation of VAT return
  • assist with update of Balance Sheet and Reconciliation
  • Cash Postings
  • assist with preparation of Sales Invoices
  • ad hoc duties as required
