Salary:£19,000 - £24,000 per annum inc. benefits

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger Supervisor who is looking for a new challenge! Reporting to the Financial Controller and managing a team of 7 people the role will include;

- the day to management of 7 Purchase Ledger Clerks

- managing and prioritising daily workload

- taking responsibility for 4 retail divisions

- all of which operate independent Purchase Ledgers - working with Senior Management to review current working practices and to suggest and implement better controls and to bring the 4 ledgers into line

- liaising with internal departments to ensure that monthly deadlines are met

This is a key role and vital to the running of the business - therefore we need to appoint someone with the following personality;

- Previous AP experience as either Supervisor or Deputy who is ready to make the step up.

- A good team player that is capable of taking the lead and making sure that improvements are made

- Strong IT skills
