Description:
Our client is one of the UK largest distributors of Food and Subsidiary products to the Retail and Fast Food Trade in the UK - due to the continued success and growth of the group they are now looking to recruit within the the Finance and Accounts team.
Based within the Commercial Finance team you will report to the Operations Accountant on a day to day basis more specifically the role include;
- Daily reviewing completed Excel returns by depots. Identifying and resolving any errors
- Acting as a 'helpdesk' to depots who are struggling with completing the returns
- Be able to present working Excel spreadsheets for use by Senior Managers
- Prepare detailed reports and updates relating to running costs
- Be able to Analyze weekly depot Stock and Credits
- Assist the Management Accounting team with the preparation of Financial Reporting
- Assist with the preparation of Profit and Loss Analysis and Trial Balance Reconciliations.
We believe that this role will suit someone who is able to demonstrate an existing career within Finance and Accounts - perhaps have a background in transaction processing and Purchase Ledger and be now looking for a more challenging role.
As able individual you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills;
- Strong Excel skills - intermediate or above
- Be able to work under pressure and be able to meet team and individual deadlines
- Be someone who enjoys a challenge and is now looking for progression.
