This is an excellent long term opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to work within a major public sector organisation based in the heart of Manchester and responsible for the provision of services to the Greater Manchester area.
Working to support the Senior Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
- involvement with the preparation and monitoring of revenue budgets
- assisting with the preparation of final accounts
- carrying out financial analysis
Candidates should have experience of general accountancy and budgeting and be competent with computers and spreadsheets. Ideally you will be working towards a qualification.
This is a temporary assignment for twelve months and the successful candidate will be eligible to join the pension scheme.
