Our cient is a major provider of community services for the residents of Greater Manchester. They have excellent newly refurbished offices in the centre of the city and are easily accessible by public transport.
Their current requirement is for a suitably experienced Finance Assistant to assist with the remains of year end of close down and the establishment of budgets for the new financial year.
Candidates should be immediately available, be prepared to commit for a six months period, possess fine tuned Excel skills and be flexible and adaptable in approach.
Responsibilities will include:
- reconciliations to accounts
- down/loading/transferring of information from spreadsheets
- production of variance analysis
- postings of accruals and prepayments
- ad hoc reporting
